Google Analytics with anonymization function

Functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics from Google LLC, based at 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google") are used on our website. We use this tool to analyze the use of our website. In particular, this happens again via the cookies, which generate information that is transmitted to Google in the USA and stored there. The stored data is, for example, the time, place and frequency of your website visit including your IP address. As already described in the previous point, you can prevent the installation of cookies at any time by making the appropriate settings in your browser. This allows you to ensure that no information is passed on to Google. However, we would like to point out once again that if you deactivate cookies, you will not be able to use all the functions of our website to their full extent.

We use Google Analytics with an IP anonymization function. This means that your IP address will be shortened and anonymized by Google itself within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. As a result, only a rough localization is possible.

Google uses this information to evaluate how you use our website, to compile reports for us on activities on our website and to provide other services related to website and internet use. Google may pass this data on to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. According to their own statements, Google will never associate your IP address with other Google data.

For the most common browsers, Google itself offers a deactivation option for cookies. This gives you more control over what data Google can collect and process. If you activate this option, no information about your visit to our website will be passed on to Google Analytics. However, activation does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or to other web analysis services we may use. You can find more information about the deactivation option provided by Google and how to activate this option via the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

We have concluded a corresponding contract data processing contract with Google LLC. Data processing takes place on the basis of the legal provisions of Section 96 Paragraph 3 TKG and Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit a (consent) and/or lit f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR.

The improvement of our offer and our website is our concern within the meaning of the GDPR (= legitimate interest). Protecting the privacy of our users is extremely important to us. Therefore, all user data is pseudonymised and stored for a period of 24 months.

Google Ads

We advertise our website with the Google advertising tool "Google Ads". At the same time, we use the "Conversion Tracking" analysis service from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). If you came to our homepage via a Google ad, a cookie will be stored on your computer. Cookies are small text files that your Internet browser stores and saves on your computer. These so-called "conversion cookies" are only valid for 30 days and do not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your personal identity. If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognize that you, as a user, have clicked on one of our ads placed with Google and have been redirected to our site. The data that Google collects using "conversion cookies" is used to create visit statistics for our website. This is interesting for us because it tells us how many users have clicked on our ad in total and which pages of our website were subsequently accessed by the respective user. Neither we nor other advertisers via "Google Ads" receive information to be able to identify users personally. The installation of "conversion cookies" can be prevented by setting the browser accordingly. There is the option of generally deactivating the automatic setting of cookies or specifically blocking only the cookies from the "googleadservices.com" domain. You can find the relevant data protection declaration from Google under the following link: https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html

Rights

In principle, as a user of our website, you have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation and objection. If you are of the opinion that the processing of your data violates the applicable data protection law or your data protection rights have been violated in any way, please contact us first. We will do everything we can to rectify a possible violation. Of course you can also complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority. Please contact us with all your concerns about data protection.
